1 cup Thai Hom Mali Jasmine rice
1¼ cup water
1 tbsp oil/butter (optional)
pinch of salt (optional)

Preparation of Kirkland Signature Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice

1. in the stove

Rinse once or twice to remove the starch.
Pour 1¼ cup of water into a saucepan and wait for it to boil.
Add royal jasmine rice, oil and salt to boiling water and stir gently.
Cover the pot, reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the water is completely absorbed.
Remove the pot from the heat and let the rice sit, covered, for 5 minutes. To serve.

2. In microwaves

Place 1 cup royal jasmine rice in a microwave safe bowl and add 1¾ cups water, salt and oil/butter.
Cover and microwave for 10-15 minutes over medium heat.
Let the rice sit for just 5 minutes, and it\’s ready to eat.
