Cooking Instructions
- 1 cup Thai Hom Mali Jasmine rice
- 1¼ cup water
- 1 tbsp oil/butter (optional)
- pinch of salt (optional)
Preparation of Kirkland Signature Thai Hom Mali Jasmine Rice
1. in the stove
- Rinse once or twice to remove the starch.
- Pour 1¼ cup of water into a saucepan and wait for it to boil.
- Add royal jasmine rice, oil and salt to boiling water and stir gently.
- Cover the pot, reduce the heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the water is completely absorbed.
- Remove the pot from the heat and let the rice sit, covered, for 5 minutes. To serve.
2. In microwaves
- Place 1 cup royal jasmine rice in a microwave safe bowl and add 1¾ cups water, salt and oil/butter.
- Cover and microwave for 10-15 minutes over medium heat.
- Let the rice sit for just 5 minutes, and it’s ready to eat.
