How to Set Up Your Optimum Router:

How to add a new Phone Number to your Account

Step 1: Go to optimum.com/mobile/shop/phones.
Step 2: Pick the phone you want to buy.
Step 3: Choose how you want to pay.
Step 4: Click “Add to Cart.”
Step 5: Confirm that you want to log in to your account.
Step 6: Enter your username and password.
Step 7: Decide if you want to upgrade your existing phone or get a new line.
- If upgrading, select “Upgrade a Line.”
- Pick the line you want to upgrade.
- Click “Upgrade.”
- If getting a new line, select “Add a Line.”
- Choose your plan(s).

How to Create an Optimum ID
To create an Optimum ID, follow the steps below to acheive this:
Step 1: Go to the Optimum internet homepage.
Step 2: Click on the option to create an Optimum ID through your home network.
Step 3: Verify important personal information like your mobile number, account number, first name, and last name.
Step 4: If you forgot your account number, check your installation receipt, Optimum bills, or packing slip.
Step 5: Add your email address, create secure security questions, and choose your Optimum ID. These security questions will help you recover your Optimum ID, including your username and password.
Step 6: Set a unique password, and you’re all set with your new Optimum ID.
You may want to create additional ID for your Family to make payment online easy for them. To do this, follow the steps below to do that:
Step 1: Go to optimum.net/profile.
Step 2: If you haven’t logged in already, you’ll be prompted to do so. Enter your password and Optimum ID.
Step 3: On the right side of your screen, click “Add Optimum IDs to your existing account.”
Step 4: Answer the security questions with your unique answers.
Step 5: Complete the required fields with your new user information.
Step 6: Confirm the access permissions you want for the new user.
Step 7: Finally, click “Create Optimum ID.”
